Dawn is the Executive Director of With a Little Help.
Beginning her journey as a caregiver in 1990, Dawn navigated through skilled nursing, private home care, and successfully launched her first adult family home at the age of 23. Dawn’s leadership flourished as she owned and operated a total of five adult family homes in Oregon until 2001.
Transitioning into assisted-living, Dawn assumed the role of Executive Director in 2001. Over the years, she expanded her expertise by managing home care services, and managing the start-up of a new dementia care community. Beyond her professional commitments, Dawn is an active member of Rotary and serves as the chair of the board at the Senior Center of West Seattle.
Driven by a passion for continuous learning, Dawn’s personal mantra is to glean something new each day. Family holds a special place in her heart, with three children – two sons, a daughter, and the joy of a first grandson. Dawn and her husband find solace in shared interests, indulging in the pleasures of live music, hiking, camping, road trips, and a love for travel.
