Rebecca was born and raised in California but has lived in the PNW for more than 15 years. Immediately after graduating from California Polytechnic University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, she began her career at Hewlett-Packard Co. where she remained until the birth of her third child. After a few years staying at home with her children, she returned to the workforce as a Paraprofessional for Special Education working with individuals with special needs.
In 2017, Rebecca’s mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. In order to better understand how to care for her mother, as well as how to help educate her family about her mother’s diagnosis, she decided to pursue a Home Care Aide certification. The more she learned about caregiving through the HCA program, the more she realized there were many similarities to her work with special needs individuals. She decided to combine both her administrative and caregiving background at With a Little Help and is very happy to be part of such a wonderfully supportive and caring team.
As empty-nesters, she and her husband of over 30 years enjoy gardening, traveling, and hiking with their sweet but slightly neurotic dog, Cali.
